Over-engineering home DNS for all sorts of reasons

I’ve used a combination of Unbound and NSD for a few years having been inspired by one of the posts on calomel.org. Over the summer I decided to re-engineer what I built a few years ago having started to suspect that the recursive requests made by my Unbound instances were being transparently proxied by my ISP. Never one to miss a chance to create work for myself, I took the opportunity to add dnscrypt-proxy to the mix and document the effort properly

Factoring the second factor

My bank decided it would be a good idea to implement SMS as a second factor. I wrote a piece for Virtual Clarity about why that might not be such a great idea.
